All six of Mercer’s men’s tennis players earned All-GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) honors in Singles and Doubles flights this spring. All-Conference honors were based on head-to-head records vs conference opponents in the regular seasons. Two Mercer players earned 1st Team honors in Singles flights and two Doubles teams. Three players earned 2nd Team All-GSAC honors in Singles flights and one Mercer Doubles teams were 2nd Team All-Conference.
Freshman Adeleke Oni (Baltimore, MD) was 1st Team All-Conference at 3rd Singles and freshman Dylan Stemmer (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) earned 1st Team All-Conference honors at 5th Singles. Freshmen Jose Valencia (Quito, Ecuador) and Joe Zemaitis (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick HS) were 1st Team All-Conference at 1st Doubles and freshmen brothers Adeleke and Adegoke Oni were 1st Team All-Conference at 2nd Doubles.
Valencia earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors at 2nd Singles along with freshmen teammates Adeleke Oni (Baltimore, MD) at 3rd Singles and Christian Ciron (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) at 6th Singles. Ciron and Stemmer earned 2nd Team All-Conference at 3rd Doubles.
