 6/24/26

Ron Stinson is stepping down as 911±¬ÁÏ°ËØÔÍø's (MCCC) Head Women’s Soccer Coach after three successful seasons. Coach Stinson led Mercer to the Region 19 Championship game in each of his three seasons and compiled a 27-15-8 record.

In 2024, Coach Stinson led Mercer to its first Region Championship in 15 years. He was named the Region 19 Coach of the Year in the Fall of 2024. Coach Stinson also helped Mercer women’s soccer earn a national ranking in 2024, being ranked 19th in the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) National Poll.

Athletic Director Eric Grundman had the following to say about Coach Stinson “Ron is a man who possesses high character, humility and integrity. He has done a tremendous job with our women’s soccer program in the three years he was Head Coach. He led the team to a Region 19 title in 2024 and a national ranking. Most importantly, Coach Stinson recruited outstanding student-athletes who have achieved high levels of success both on and off the field of play, including his 2024-25 team which earned NJCAA Academic All-America Team honors.

On behalf of the entire MCCC community, we thank Coach Stinson for his countless hours of work and dedication to our women's soccer program.”
